During a recent appearance in Kansas City, Missouri, Vance emphasized the need for party unity to defend election integrity, acknowledging the frustrations of the Republican base while pushing for a firm stand against noncitizen voter participation. The SAVE Act proposes a federal mandate requiring individuals to provide documentary proof of U. S. citizenship—such as birth certificates or passports—to register for federal elections.
