President Donald Trump has frequently described his second term in office as a transition from being “the hunted” to “the hunter,” targeting political enemies after his first term was, in his view, “corrupted.”
The president held an event on Monday morning in the Oval Office to discuss maternal health and initiatives his administration is working on to help mothers across the country.
Dr. Adams, Assistant Secretary at the Administration for Children and Families, said, “Under your leadership, we’re advancing a childcare reform package that puts parents back in charge.”
“Today, I’m please to announce that US Department of Labor is issuing a new rule to formally create a fertility benefit option for employers that can be offered to all employees, outside of their normal health insurance plans,” Trump said.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. warned that America’s fertility crisis is a direct threat to the country.
“We are approaching the cataclysmic rates that Japan and China are now experiencing that is threatening their economy. It’s a threat not only to our economy, to our national security. We had a series of presidents that were trying to DISCOURAGE childbirth and motherhood in this country. We now have a president that is trying to encourage it,” RFK Jr. said.
After delivering some brief remarks on the initiative and its early successes, the president spoke about the importance of “taking advantage” of his second term in office after Democrats spent his first term attacking and fighting him on everything.
“I was hunted by some very bad people. Now I’m the hunter. It’s much better when you’re the hunter. These are bad people, and they’ll give you no support at all, no matter how good it is. I’ve been waiting so long for them to change, but they just keep losing, and they’re going to keep losing with their policies,” Trump told the room.
The president was also asked about Iran, where he revealed that he is considering renewing “Project Freedom,” but “this time around the U.S. guiding ships through the Strait of Hormuz would be one small piece of what would be part of a larger military operation.”

Trump revealed that Iran specifically stated that only the US or China would be capable of retrieving the “nuclear dust.”
“Iran told me very strongly they intend to give US the nuclear dust. But you’re going to have to take it out, because the site was so obliterated that there’s only one or two countries in the world that could get it. It’s so deep and got hit so hard that there’s no way they have the equipment to move it. You and China are the only two countries in the world that could take it out!”
“So we talked about it, and they said, you’ll have to take it out, because we don’t have the capability of doing it. For those people that like to say that those great pilots in those great planes, well, we just ordered 22 more of them knew and improved, that those great pilots didn’t do their job. They did their job.”
“Of course I have a plan — I have the best plan ever. And Iran has been defeated militarily, totally… I have a plan: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” he added.
Trump announced on Tuesday that “Project Freedom,” the U.S. initiative aimed at ensuring safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, will be temporarily paused.
The president announced his decision on Truth Social, citing significant progress made toward a potential agreement with Iran.
“Based on the request of Pakistan and other Countries, the tremendous Military Success that we have had during the Campaign against the Country of Iran, and additionally, the fact that Great Progress has been made toward a Complete and Final Agreement with Representatives of Iran, we have mutually agreed that, while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, Project Freedom (The Movement of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed,” Trump wrote.
